How to assign tasks in TOPS [ONE]

DESCRIPTION:

Create tasks for yourself or other users on any homeowner, vendor, transaction or ticket. Easily see deadlines, priority and notes for all tasks assigned to you from your task list on the home page.

This will give you a step by step guide how to assign tasks to different parts of Tops[One]

 

STEP-BY-STEP

 To assign a task on a specific user

Type and select the user in the search box on the top of the screen.  

Once you select the user, click the Action button on the top right screen, and select Add Task

 

  • In the Assigned To drop down select who will receive this task
  • Select the due date from the Calendar button 
  • Select the Priority Level
  • Enter the Subject
  • Enter your Message
  • Press Save to finish 

 

 

 To assign a task to a vendor

Type and select the vendor in the search box on the top of the screen.  

Once you select the vendor, click the Action button on the top right screen, and select Add Task

 

  • In the Assigned To drop down select who will receive this task
  • Select the due date from the Calendar button 
  • Select the Priority Level
  • Enter the Subject
  • Enter your Message

Press Save to finish 

 

 

 

To add a task to a community

Go to Portfolio and select Community. Select the Community where you want to assign the task.

Select Action on the top right corner

 

 

To assign tasks to Work Orders

Click Work Orders and select Work Order Tickets .

From this screen you can filter to your open work orders by pressing the OPEN filter

Select your desired work order 

Press the Actions menu and Select Add Task

  • In the Assigned To drop down select who will receive this task
  • Select the due date from the Calendar button 
  • Select the Priority Level
  • Enter the Subject
  • Enter your Message

Press Save to finish
