TOPS [ONE] How to add "Current Date" on a template

SUMMARY 

Microsoft Word easily adds the Current Date to any template without using a merge code. 

This article will go over how to insert the date and have it automatically update every time the template is generated.

Create a New/Upload Template

 

STEP BY STEP 

1. Open the template you want to edit using Microsoft Word 2013 or later, and place the cursor where you would want to add the date. 

2. On the ribbon tab, click Insert then select Date & Time 

3. Select the date format 

4. Click the checkbox next to Update Automatically, then click OK

 

RESULTS 

 

5. Save the document and upload the template into your TOPS [ONE] template library.
